Rediscover the Falls, a new non-profit group formed in support of the Willamette Falls Legacy Project, will bridge communities and work in tandem with government partners to implement the vision for the Falls. Through fundraising and outreach and education, Rediscover the Falls will play a critical role in reshaping this place into an economic engine, a waterfront destination, a unique habitat, a window into Oregon’s past— and a bold step into our future. The board of Rediscover the Falls is primarily focused on fundraising and engaging the community around the Willamette Falls Riverwalk, a world class experience destination providing public access to Willamette Falls.
Rediscover the Falls is seeking new board members to complete its board of directors. Candidates for the board should represent a broad range of skills, experiences, and perspectives including, but not limited to, finance/accounting, fundraising/capital campaigns, nonprofit management, natural resources, tourism, design/architecture, equity/social justice as well as the four core values of the Willamette Falls Legacy Project (healthy habitat, economic development, historic and cultural interpretation, and public access to the falls).
